UEFA Fifty for the Future: Portuguese Picks

UEFA today released their Fifty for the Future. Each year, UEFA asks its European correspondents to compile a list of 50 young footballers to look out for in the coming year.

This years edition, as expected, features many Portuguese talents to keep an eye out for over the course of the second half of the 2019/20 season and the beginning of the 2020/21 season.

Last years Fifty for the Future featured João Félix, Gedson Fernandes and Rafa Camacho

This year, the amount of players featured in the Fifty for the Future has doubled from 3 players to 6, with 5 playing football in Portugal and 1 playing in Italy.

  • Florentino Luis (SL Benfica, 20)
  • Rafael Leão (AC Milan, 20)
