Welcome back to the Próxima Jornada Player of the Week! After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 enforced break, our weekly feature where we highlight the best player from that match week, has returned.
With the fixture schedule being as congested as it is, Player of the Week will no longer come out on a fixed day of the week, but when all games from that Jornada are finished!

Without further ado, here is your Próxima Jornada Player of the Week for Jornada 25!
Mateus Pasinato put in an outstanding performance for his club side Moreirense in their 0-1 victory, away at Boavista. He was alert, commanding and very confident with his shot-stopping. His excellent performance came as somewhat of a surprise purely because of how suspect some of the goalkeeping has been since the restart, both in Portugal and beyond.
For Pasinato however, there was no lack of concentration, no passes to the opponent and certainly no deficiency in his quality.
Both Pasinato and Moreirense spent much of the match under fire from Boavista, the Porto outfit managing 26 shots in total compared to Moreirense’s 5. Out of those 26, 9 were on target and all 9 were saved by the 27-year-old shot-stopper. In truth, without Pasinato between the sticks, this outcome could have been very, very different.
Parabéns Mateus!
