Sporting CP – Primeira Liga Champions 2020/21

Sporting CP are officially champions of Portugal!Rúben Amorim’s side ran out 1-0 victors over Boavista courtesy of a Paulinho goal.

It is the club’s first Primeira Liga title since the 2001/02 season, ending a 19 year Liga drought. As things stand, Sporting are on course to complete an invincible season as they remain unbeaten (25 won 7 drawn) with two Jornada’s remaining.

It is also manager Rúben Amorim’s first league title as a manager, a manager that has received plaudits both in Portugal and around Europe for his trust in youth, his man management and his attention to detail.

Congratulations to Sporting CP and everyone connected to the club, an incredible achievement.
