Fans Set To Return To Stadiums In Portugal

Liga Portugal have announced in a statement that stadiums at the professional level in Portugal will start at 33% capacity next season.

“The General Directorate of Health will soon publish all the rules and conditions for public access to the stadiums, agreed today with the Liga Portugal, highlighting that professional competitions will start with the possibility of 33% capacity in the venues, Ticket holders must present a Covid-19 Digital Certificate proving complete vaccination, negative test within the previous 48 hours or verification of cure up to 180. All sports infrastructures must comply with the contingency plan already defined for the 2020-21 season for each one of the stadiums of professional competitions.”

“It was also agreed that the capacity limits and access conditions will be reassessed throughout the period, depending on the country’s epidemiological evolution and the progress of the vaccination process.”
