10 Portuguese Players Nominated for Golden Boy 2022

TuttoSport have released the 100-player shortlist for the 2022 Golden Boy award!

As is so often the case, Portugal is very well represented on the list, with Portuguese players making up 10% of the entire list this year!

The prestigious youth award has been won twice previously by two Portuguese players, Renato Sanches and João Félix.

Portuguese representation on the list this years comes in the form of the players below:

Francisco Conceição – FC Porto
Diego Moreira – SL Benfica
Fábio Carvalho – Liverpool
Fábio Silva – Wolves
Henrique Araújo – Benfica
Joelson Fernandes – Sporting CP
Nuno Mendes – PSG (on loan from Sporting)
Paulo Bernardo – SL Benfica
Rodrigo Ribeiro – Sporting CP
Tiago Tomás – Sporting CP
