The group stage draw for the 2023 Under-17 UEFA European Championships has concluded and Portugal have discovered their opponents.
Filipe Ramos’ side have been drawn in Group C and will face holders France, Scotland and Germany at the tournament which will be held in Hungary between May 17th and June 2nd. The route to the final has also been mapped out.

Portugal guaranteed qualification for the final phase of the tournament during the last international break after beating Czech Republic 2-0 in Viseu. The young Seleção side finished top of Group 5, winning all three games, scoring five goals and conceding zero in the process.

Portugal have a good history in the UEFA Under-17 Euros having won the competition twice in its current format (2003 & 2016) as well as winning it on four occasions when it was the Under-16 Euros.
